Certified Attic Mold Removal
for Carrollton Attics — Cause Before Treatment

Two prior inspectors told us our Carrollton attic had mold that needed full sheathing replacement — over $12,000 in quotes. Cheap Mold Removal measured MC% on every panel, identified 90% of the darkened panels as sapstain (MC% consistently below 14%) and only 8 panels near the north eave with active growth (MC% 23–26%). What stood out was the CFM measurement on the bathroom fans. One fan measured 19 CFM at discharge — about 40% of its nameplate rating — because the flex duct had too many bends and an undersized exterior cap creating back pressure. Cheap Mold Removal rerouted it with shorter duct, fewer bends, and a proper cap — measured 52 CFM at the exterior cap after rerouting. That 33 CFM difference is why that bathroom was growing mold on the ceiling joists above it. Fixed the cause, not just the symptom.
